April 2007 Net Worth Snapshot

All of our stock investments saw positive gains thanks to the strong market performance in April.
Again, because I was hesitant to include home equity in the calculation, it is an ultra-conservative number. It is more accurately the amount of our mortgage that we have paid off. If does not include the down-payment we made, nor do I consider any appreciation in the value of our home.
The business equity is an investment I made in a start-up company.
We now owe less than $1,000 on my wife’s car and it should be completely paid off in the next couple of months, leaving us debt free other than the mortgage.
As often seems to be the case, I see several large expenses coming up over the next couple of months, which will provide a challenge, but we have always seemed to manage, and I anticipate more of the same.
