For accuracy, Rockefeller is the wealthiest man in history. It is a fact from all government sources that he had roughly $323 Billion dollars.
Then again, there are historians who believe the wealthiest man in history was Crassus. He had an immeasurable amount of money, but since historians cannot accurately find information about him, people nowadays forget Crassus and say that Rockefeller is the wealthiest man in history.

Well, in fact Chinggis Khaan (other names Ginggis khaan, Gengis Khaan) was the richest man on earth who is the first emperor of the Great Mongolian empire.
